A preliminary self assessment should be conducted prior to scheduling a BRC audit. Any areas of non-conformity should be addressed before initiating the certification process. Cert ID can provide the tools necessary to prepare for certification.

Cert ID customers may select an optional pre-assessment in preparation for the audit. The pre-assessment assists customers with preparation for an actual audit and does not result in certification. Registration of the audit results are not filed with the BRC and no registration fee is payable. Pre-assessments are recommended for clients seeking first-time BRC certification.

A North America version of the BRC Global Standard for Food Safety is available as a free readable PDF. Cert ID will e-mail the standard at your request, as a read only PDF to allow your organization to review the content of the Standard prior to purchasing a copy.
